Originally “Rhythm Blunt Cru,” word was that Russel Simmons didn’t go for the name so only ‘Cru’ remained on the releases.From the Bronx Cru is made up of rapper/producer Yogi, Chadeeo & The Mighty Ha.The group’s debut album, Da dirty 30 a reference to both the district the three men lived in and the fact that they crammed thirty tracks onto the album, was released on Violator Records in 1997.The album was produced in its entirety by Yogi the album did not meet sales so the group was either dropped or disbanded.A brief appearance on a Violator Records compilation album was to follow and then silence.Apparently yogi is still doing some production but no word on the other two members.Still these guys did have some bangers and we salute them.

This happened a few weeks ago in spain.Heikki Kovalainen who drives for mclaren was heading into the track’s fastest corner at 160mph.The moment he hit the brakes the rim of his front left wheel failed, possibly as a result of debris or a stone penetrating the wheel, causing the tyre to deflate immediately.From that instant Kovalainen was a passenger. His car shot straight on into the tyre wall. The impact speed was approximately 140-150 mph.The accident ‘black box’ in the car showed that Kovalainen suffered an impact of 26 times the force of gravity.The car was buried so far into the wall, five tyres deep, that it split in two under the force required to extract it.Thanks to the miracle of F1 car engineering or just plain luck he survived the crash with no serious injuries he even managed a thumbs up as he was being stretchered away and was cleared to race for the instanbul prix.

And with piercing green eyes staring out from behind the visor, it’s no surprise that the helmet has been compared to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s killer robot in The Terminator.

Pilots flying the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter will have an astonishing array of technology encasing their heads – enabling them to see right through their own aircraft fuselage to the ground below.

A series of cameras on the outside of the stealth warplane feed high-resolution images into the helmet, including infra-red images at night, which are then projected on to the inside of the pilot’s visor.

Special sensors inside the cockpit track the movement of the helmet, so that when the pilot turns his head his view of the skies or ground outside changes accordingly.

When he looks down he sees not his own feet on the cockpit floor but the ground below, slipping past at hundreds of miles per hour.

On-board computers also feed in essential flight and combat data on to the display, as well as superimposing target symbols to locate enemy and friendly aircraft or ground targets, even if they are too far away to see with the naked eye.

The supersonic Joint Strike Fighter is due to replace the Harrier jump jet, and is being developed jointly with America.

Britain is due to buy 150 aircraft at around £10billion, or £66million each

Prototypes were used in flight by U.S. pilots earlier last year.
